The finely crafted, finger-jointed construction of our Bamboo Cheese Grater adds beauty and durability to this great design. The foot stop feature allows the user to stabilize the grater against the edge of a countertop or table for ease of use. The internal drawer catches grated cheese and allows easy transfer to a serving bowl or to the dining table. The grating surface is arched for grater strength - a must for the hard cheeses liek Parmigiano Reggiano and Romano. A second shredder blade is included for use with softer cheeses. The 18 by 8 stainless grater blades are easily removable, interchangeable, and dishwasher safe.
